Product Description

This heart-shaped Colocasia leaf is made from raw silk, backed with felt. Her curviness is incomparable. Edges and veins stitched in black and indigo rayon threads for shine. The stem is dark blue and repurposed from a shopping bag handle (yes, it’s true!) and securely sewn onto the underside.

You’ll find a small scarab beetle resting, sleeping, dreaming…on your leaf. He won’t go anywhere as he’s sewn on as well.

As a talisman for resurrection: the sun will come up again tomorrow.

The leaf is mounted on a black satin ribbon wrapped steel headband (3mm) which is flexible and comfortable to wear. You can slide the leaf along the headband to the position you prefer!
