This textile Colocasia leaf is made from black satin brocade. Look close and you’ll see a floral motif woven in. Elongated and curved, your leaf is backed with army green felt. Edges are stitched in black rayon threads. Veins in indigo and metallic silver threads. The black stem is repurposed from a shopping bag handle, yes that’s right!

A small elegant textured silver tone serpent can be found on your leaf, a symbol of rebirth and the power of transformation.
