Fiber Art Snail Soft Sculpture with Ceramic Shell

Do you have snails in your garden? ...your fabric garden, that is!

I have two long tentacles for my eyes, the better to see you with, my dear.
My home is a brown handmade ceramic shell.
My body is made from sturdy upholstery fabrics: beige tapestry fabric with multi-colored flowers and underneath (my foot) is a textured beige fabric.

I'm 5" long and 4.5" tall, including my eyes. Body stuffed with polyfil. Shell made from low-fired clay, colored with brown engobe, fired to 1000°, then waxed.

I take my sweet time.
I'm never in a hurry;
I enjoy the ride.
