Jewel Beetle textile sculpture with textile leaf

Mr Jewel Beetle is going about his day, and for the moment he has found two lovely tapestry bindweed leaves to his liking. So here he will remain for a while, nibbling on his leaves or snacking on a small insect that happens by.

Product Description:
Mr Beetle is 4.5 inches long and 1.75 inches wide, and stands approx. 2.5 inches tall (11 x 4 x 5 cm). He’s made from shiny fabrics, blends of cotton and synthetic. His legs are black wire wrapped in linen, his eyes are glass beads. He is stuffed with polyfil.

One leaf measures 6.5 x 5 inches (15 x 13 cm) and the other 7.5 x 4 inches (19 x 10 cm). I made them from two layers of sturdy upholstery fabric, veins machine stitched.

Mr Beetle is looking for a home, preferably with a beetle lover and will bring his leaves with him for he is quite (literally) attached to them!
