Rhaphidophora tetrasperma Headband, Tropical Leaf Fascinator

You’re partial to plants, a pushover for foliage…

…perhaps even especially enraptured by the Rhaphidophora tetrasperma!

I’ve tried to capture one shapely leaf of this plant: her pleasing curves and open spaces plus her saturated fresh green color. I’ve used natural silk backed with felt for sturdiness, I’ve stitched the edges and veins by machine with shiny rayon threads. The stem was fashioned from cord, fabric scraps and floss.

The leaf is mounted on a black satin ribbon wrapped steel headband (3mm) which is flexible and comfortable to wear. You can slide the leaf along the headband to the position you prefer!

Stem length: 3 inches (7.5cm)
