Product Description:

This arachnid is a redback spider (Latrodectus hasseltii) which lives in Australia. She has been hand embroidered in the stumpwork fashion: the body is slightly raised, giving her a realistic look. Her long legs have been embroidered with black threads. She rests in an oval of vintage linen, backed with off-white felt, the edge embroidered in red and metallic black threads. Brooch clasp sewn onto the back.
