I’ve been getting more botanical inspiration these days and I’ve got some lovely leafy fabric accessories all ready for the Christmas fair next week! If you’re in or near Lyon, please come by! I’ll be with 9 other artists at the LCL bank, 18 rue de la République, December 12-20 (weekdays).
Here is what I’ve been preparing for you:
Silk and satin holly leaves, brooch or hair clip.
Fabric rings in cotton and silk.
Blue begonia leaves headband.
Fig leaves, another headband.
Maple leaf with ladybugs: hair comb.
Red maple leaf, hair clip or brooch, your choice!
Satin leaf with moth headband.
I’ve used some fun insect beads and charms, like spiders, ladybugs, dragonflies.
For the moment, these leafy goodies aren’t in the shop. If you won’t be in Lyon, and you see something you like, send me a message and I’ll make one just for you.

And today, she felt agile and unfettered.
No longer leaf-bound.

A fear of messing up and wasting the viewers’ time came back each week, until I noticed that it felt fun to get on camera.
